So this probably was Ubisoft's train of thought: Hmm We have a new Prince of Persia game coming up with a sexy new girl. She's definitely pretty enough to compete with Kaileena and Farah but what else can we do to make her appeal to videogame fans?...They think about it for a while and come up with...Let's design her with perfect feet and make her go barefoot throughout the game.

Well played Ubisoft. You've made your fans very happy. Needless to say with a beautiful barefoot girl like Elika...the future of the game is looking very good indeed.
